Dear Julie
Sheffield Trade Union Council is dismayed to learn of yet more severe cuts to our much valued local community services. This time it’s library closures and a transfer to the use of volunteers where libraries have not been closed. There are also the cutbacks in concessionary travel for the elderly, disabled and blind on our public transport. Where will it end? There are as you know many more vindictive spending cuts to be imposed on the City Council’s budget in the years to come.
