We are very much looking forward to welcoming Paul NowakGeneral Secretary of the TUC to the event where he will be joining a great platform of speakers. The context of the event taking place at a time of growing economic uncertainty  and in the immediate aftermath of local election results means that the message from our unions of economic justice and social inclusion will be very timely. Please encourage affiliate members and branches to attend what is a great day celebrating our movement.

3pm -5pm Soft ground, The Moor. Organised by Sheffield Transformedimage.png

How are trade unionists organising in the gig economy filled with zero hour contracts? How do we win as workers in the UK and internationally in these hostile times?

Join us at this Festival of Debate session to hear from our seasoned panellists how they’re *organising workers who have previously been seen as ‘difficult to reach’.*

We’ll learn from their *lessons and successes* before *practically troubleshooting* together how to win in our own workplaces/sectors.
