6.00 arrive for 6.15 prompt start of the AGM. then 7.00 pm free food and refreshments – donations welcome, to support flood relief in Pakistan. Followed by 7.30 film DISRUPTION (50 minutes) We’re the first generation to feel the impacts of climate disruption, and the last generation that can do something about it. The film enlarges the issue beyond climate impacts and makes a compelling call for bold action that is strong enough to tip the balance to build a clean energy future”.

Monday 2nd November TUC Lobby of Parliament “Kill the Bill!” We need a massive response to the Tories’ vicious anti-union new laws that will not only set undemocratic and unfair voting thresholds for strike action but will also introduce a wide range of measures designed to make strike activity illegal, undermine collective bargaining, cripple trade unions financially and stop us having a political voice. This matters to all of us – not just trade union members!! N.B. Local protest event planned – watch out for details!
