Tuesday 25th July “DISPOSSESSION – The Great Social Housing Swindle”
6pm The Showroom Cinema, Paternoster Row. Feature documentary directed by Paul Sng and narrated by Maxine Peake, exploring the catastrophic failures that have led to a chronic shortage of social housing in Britain. After the screening there will be a Q&A with Paul Sng (Director), Dr Lisa McKenzie (author of Getting By) and more.

Trade Union and Labour Movement festival for all the family in Wortley Hall grounds.
Among events there is the traditional public meeting on a burning topic of the day:
