If at all possible, please could all volunteers stewarding here in Sheffield on the 6th November attend the national stewards training on Tuesday Nov 2nd using the link here:

GDA march and rally steward training – Tuesday 2nd November, 7-8:30pm (UK time)

The training will cover de-escalation, crowd management, covid and accessibility. These are vital skills to ensure the demo is safe and inclusive and keeps moving in the right direction!

If you are unable to attend but would like to, we will circulate a link to the recording of the training as soon as we have it.

7th-10th November – National People’s Summit for Climate Justice 

  • The COP26 Coalition is hosting the People’s Summit as an alternative to business as usual of false solutions and inaction at the COP negotiations. The Summit will be held both in-person in Glasgow and online.
