Jeremy Corbyn to speak in Tudor Square (outside Crucible)

2pm Saturday 29th August

There’s already been a fantastic response to the news that Jeremy Corbyn is coming to Sheffield this Saturday. In fact all 950 tickets inside Crucible Theatre went within 12 hours of going on Facebook! For this reason, it has now been agreed that Jeremy Corbyn will be talking to the (inevitably!) huge crowd outside in Tudor Square at 2pm BEFORE going inside to address the theatre audience.

Therefore if you do have a ticket for the Crucible event, PLEASE make your way inside the theatre for a 2pm start as there are a series of other supporting speakers before Jeremy Corbyn returns from Tudor Square. This is because we are expecting a very large crowd in Tudor Square!

Please also look out for stalls (outside the Lyceum Theatre on Tudor Square) for Sheffield Trades Council and Sheffield Peoples Assembly (joint stall); BFAWU Bakers’ Union Fast Food Rights; UNITE Community; and 1M Climate Jobs. N.B. Apart from these stalls, no others are allowed. There will also be a Jeremy Corbyn campaign stall.

Let’s give Jeremy the biggest welcome ever when he comes to Sheffield!
