Saturday 12th March. Sheffield Save Our NHS “Taking Back Our NHS” Workshop

10am to 2pm The Roco, 342 Glossop Road. A half day event of information, discussion and campaign planning. National and local speakers, including from Keep Our NHS Public, and Junior Doctors. The Junior Doctors dispute provides a focus for showing support for the NHS. Find out the latest in the dispute and what can be done to build solidarity.

Sunday 13th March – London demonstration against the Housing and Planning Bill

Among the Bill’s provisions are:

  • extension of the right to buy to housing association homes – and placing the financial burden on Local Government
  • ending secure tenancies for social housing – a shocking attack on the poorest families
  • massive rent increases for those not deemed “poor enough” to be in social housing

Saturday 19th March STAND UP TO RACISM! National Demonstration in London

ALL OUT FOR UN ANTI-RACISM DAY 1230 London March sets off, then rally in Trafalgar Square. Coach transport from Sheffield buy a ticket on the bus to London or make a donation to sponsor others to go. Tickets are  £20 waged and £10 low waged/unwaged.
